Privacy
My Animal Cabinet ("the app," "we," "us") is an unofficial fan catalogue for Schleich Wild Life, Farm World, and Dinosaurs figurines. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Schleich GmbH.
Short version: Your collection can stay on your device only. If you sign in, we store your email and shared household collection so you can sync with a partner. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use tracking/analytics SDKs.
Who this applies to
The app is for families cataloguing toy figurines (age rating 4+). Parents/guardians should supervise children's use, especially if email sign-in is used for sync.
Information we collect
On your device (no account required)
- Owned figurines and quantities
- Custom figurine entries you create
- Cached catalogue for offline use
Stored locally; not uploaded unless you sign in and create/join a household.
If you sign in (optional)
- Email address (magic-link sign-in)
- Household collection data (item numbers, quantities, custom names)
- Technical IDs (user / household IDs from our providers)
We do not intentionally collect payment cards, precise location, contacts, camera/mic access, advertising IDs, or analytics profiles.
How we use information
- Run catalogue, collection, search, and settings
- Authenticate via email magic link
- Sync a household collection via invite code
- Refresh current shop listings/images
- Respond to support requests
- Security and legal compliance
We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
Household invite codes
Anyone with your invite code who joins can view and edit the shared collection. Share codes only with people you trust.
Service providers
- Hosting (e.g. Vercel)
- Auth/database (e.g. Supabase)
- Email delivery (e.g. Twilio Email / SendGrid, if configured)
- Product images/catalogue may load from official shop CDNs
Retention
On-device data until cleared/uninstalled/overwritten. Cloud account/household data while the account and household records exist.
Your choices / Delete account
Use signed-out local mode; export/import backup; sign out anytime. Settings → Delete account removes your login and membership; if you are the last member, shared household cloud data is deleted. Data only on another member's device is outside our control.
Security & international processing
HTTPS and provider-managed auth. Providers may process data in the US or other countries where they operate.
Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect children's information for marketing. Prefer a parent email for sync. Contact us to request deletion if needed.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change.
